Todd Sweeney Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Todd Sweeney is the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing of OmniCable. In this position, he leads the company’s $1.3 billion commercial sales organization and oversee all marketing functions.
With more than 25 years of experience, and 16 years in wire and cable, Todd has a deep background in industrial sales and distribution. Prior to joining OmniCable, he spent more than a decade at General Cable where he served as Vice President of Sales-Automotive Americas and Vice President and General Manager for the Industrial, Construction and Specialty division. Throughout his time there, he built an impressive background in sales, marketing, and product management.
Prior to joining General Cable, he spent five years as Director of Marketing for Contech Construction Products, a leading manufacturer of industrial infrastructure products. He also has held various sales and marketing roles at General Electric, GE Capital and GE Plastics where in his final role, as Global Product Manager, was responsible for driving profitable growth through product development, market, customer and product segmentation globally.
Sweeney holds a bachelor’s degree in design from the Art Academy of Cincinnati and a Management Certificate from Regis University.
